Do you want to offer your website users a way to share the content on your site? Or bookmark your site? Or print a page on your site? How about all of those things, plus some!

Luckily, there are many services available that offer all of these things. And the best part is, most of them are free and easy to use and implement! Here are a few options we’ve used and enjoyed:

  • Facebook “Like” Button
    developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/
“The Like button lets a user share your content with friends on Facebook. When the user clicks the Like button on your site, a story appears in the user’s friends’ News Feed with a link back to your website.” via Facebook
  • ShareThis
    sharethis.com
Add customizable buttons of multiple styles and sizes to share content via Email, Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz and more! Includes counters and multi-channel buttons.
  • AddThis
    www.addthis.com
Also allows sharing via Email, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and more. Also includes counters and multi-channel buttons. This one is not as customizable, but does offer free analytics!
  • Add To Any
    www.addtoany.com
Offers sharing via Email, Facebook, Twitter, etc. in multiple sizes & styles, as well as widgets for multiple blogging and content management systems. (See an example of Add To Any in action at the bottom of this post!)

Although these options offer very similar services, it is still worthwhile to have them all available for their small differences so you can use the best option for your site or skill level. Know of any other sharing services that I’ve left out? Let me know in the comments!
