Autism Website Gets Parents Connected, Using Social Media

As technology is constantly changing, so is the way we design websites. Our client, Surreia’s Place, saw a need for parents to be able to communicate with each other, learn from each other, share stories, and trade/share specialized equipment.

Voila’s team members have diligently been working on incorporating interactive features and making the site user-friendly by adding several new components such as social media, a resources section, a store and donations area and an event-booking calendar.

Voila! has been working with Surreia’s Place since 2005. They are a non-profit organization that was founded in 2003 to serve families affected by autism and other special needs. The fresh and improved site is tentatively scheduled to launch in April 2010.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Allison and John on our website, as they have taken a concept and moved it to the next level. I know this site will help parents and siblings in so many ways, “ said Donna Bennett – Co-Founder, Surreia’s Place.
