39 Days Till Christmas
What a great time of year for marketing. All the ads, commercials and in-store displays. Just turning on the TV can rev up a person’s blood pressure from the stress of holiday shopping. But the deals…WOW! I can convince myself that I need almost anything this time of year. I know I am an impulse buyer so I have to stay out of the stores and shop online.
I love to shop early and find just the perfect gift for everyone on my list. Here are some of my favorite online places to shop:
What I love about Amazon is it is like an online department store. A one stop place to get gifts for several different people. If you spend $25 or more on qualifying items standard shipping is FREE. Music to my cheapskate ears! I also LOVE the smiley faces on their delivery boxes. You can’t help but smile when your package arrives. Nice tie in to the logo.
Being an artistic person myself I love supporting other artists. If you are not familiar with Etsy it is kind of like an online art fair. All the items are handmade. The website is extremely user friendly. Etsy has a nice clean site design. They do a good job marketing by sending out emails of items you might be interested in. I can get lost on Etsy for hours. My favorite etsy purchases are personalized gifts for friends and family. Here is a necklace I ordered for my sister. http://www.etsy.com/transaction/35049259 She loved it so much I even got a hug. (We are not huggers)
Don’t you just love the Delight logo? If you are looking for a gift for the person that has everything check out the items at Delight. This is another well designed site that makes shopping easy…sometimes too easy. Only drawback on this site is sometimes the price points can be high. I love the bright colors and interesting products. They do a great job with e-newsletters and even have an iPhone app so I can shop from everywhere!
Another site for the person that has everything and the inventor in all of us. You have to check it out for yourself.
